I like trains in the rain (being a retired meteorologist) and today, March 27, 2014 I looked at  the weather radar and saw this area of heavy train and thunder moving right toward Union Station in Little Rock. So...I quickly drove to the station and caught these trains. Since it was heavy rain,  I had to go to the station's balcony on the east side to prevent me and my camera from getting soaked. No, the photos will not make the cover of Trains Magazine or  anything, but they do show some wet trains. Roadnames today: UP, AKMD, CSXT, BNSF and GMTX.

Locomotives included today: UP 1784, 5331, 308, 1944 *** BNSF 6545 *** CSXT 7925 *** AKMD 700. Also, a FGLA hopper, and various roadnames on autorack cars on a BNSF auto train.

12:55 p.m.  I didn't get the lead locomotive on this train.

I know I can adjust the exposure to lighten the trains, but today I just used the camera's auto settings without adjustment.
