On Friday, December 23, 2005, the
Peabody Hotel dedicated a River Rail Streetcar stop for Little
Rock/North Little Rock's streetcar system. Part of that dedicaton was
the famous Peabody ducks marching into the trolley via a red carpet,
then taking a ride around the Little Rock loop. Here are a few pictures
of the event, all taken by Ken Ziegenbein. There is also a
large-format, 3 mb sound MPEG movie of the ducks marching into the
trolley.
