Here's two intermodals with DPU's
passing the station in Little Rock, Arkansas on May 17 and May 19,
2008. Plus a photo of a hopper with "Census - Count Yourself In - May
15 - 2001" from Canada and some photos taken off the Locust Street
Bridge at UP's North Little Rock yards. Included: UP 7898, 7680,
7735, 5499.

UP 7898 leads an intermodal May 17 northbound past Union Station in
Little Rock at 12:10 p.m.
DPU - UP7680.
UP 7735 on an intermodal running on the Amtrak siding May 19, 9:48 a.m.
This also had a DPU.
Colorful stacks. The Amtrak can to the left is a cover for a water
supply.

This hopper has the words: Census - "Count Yourself In - May 15" --
From Canada. The year was 2001.
Below are some photos I took from the old Locust Street bridge over the
west side of the North Little Rock UP yards on May 17. This road bridge
is rarely used since it's right next to the Interstate 30
overpass.
I'm looking to the east.
I'm at the center of the Locust Street road bridge, which is as high as
the signal bridge.
This is zoomed into the west end of the yard (the major bowl is around
the curve).
Here's one satellite view of the yard complex in North Little Rock:
I took the photos of the yard from where I-30 crosses the tracks,
looking to the east. My Union Station photos are taken in the southwest
corner of the image, near Highway10. You can see the blue Amtrak symbol
there. The Baring Cross bridge over the Arkansas River is just
northeast of the station, then the tracks pass Jenks Shops and head
east.
